Just finished some Old School inks for this throwback cover of Walt Disney Comics from 1945! I haven’t pulled out the ole’ dip pens for quite some time, but I do think it’s important to preserve (and use) the old methods. This will be particularly true when the machines/AI take over and no longer allow us to create our own art!

Here is a design I just completed for a pool service company. This is designed to be used for collaterals, business cards, and tee shirts, per customer request. I really enjoyed this one – with it’s dual reference to the Metallica and Marvel comics ‘Sandman’!

Here is a pair of commemorative pieces I did as a “diptych.” They’re meant to be displayed side by side, giving a panorama of this couples life together!
I finally got me one of those X-1 rockets I always wanted as a kid! Here I am taking it out on a ride around the galaxy! I wonder if there’s handicapped parking on other worlds?!

I did a drawing, “Thunder Lizard,” for an adventure panel comic. I liked the layout but, as happens sometimes, as I was finishing it I realized the physics of the tail swing were off.
So I did a redesign. Now the physics are correct and the blacks present a much more balanced drawing while giving this long-neck more weight. I also added more texture between the lights and shadows. All in all, a better composition.
