X-1 Rocket!

I finally got me one of those X-1 rockets I always wanted as a kid! Here I am taking it out on a ride around the galaxy! I wonder if there’s handicapped parking on other worlds?!

Thunder Lizard inks

I did a drawing, “Thunder Lizard,” for an adventure panel comic. I liked the layout but, as happens sometimes, as I was finishing it I realized the physics of the tail swing were off.
So I did a redesign. Now the physics are correct and the blacks present a much more balanced drawing while giving this long-neck more weight. I also added more texture between the lights and shadows. All in all, a better composition.

“Where Mothers Dwell”

In case you haven’t noticed, I like to parody things. One of my favorites is parodying comic book covers, and I like the classics (gold, silver, and bronze age stuff). Here is a cover based on “Where Monsters Dwell” No. 5 (Sept. 1970). Just in time for mothers day!

Splat-Man!

OK, so I debated with myself whether or not I should post this, or wait until the ‘Saturday Funnies’ went into publication. Since I’m still working on even more strips, why not whet your appetite? So, here it is!

Tar Illium (sans text)

So far, I have 5 separate strips (different titles/multiple strips), and a gag panel. And I’m working on one other. Lots of drawing to do!!

3 of these of these strips are Biblically based, as I feel it is important for kids (all readers, actually) to know the truth of scripture
