Fresh off the drawing board – Spidey-Man inks! This was a cover I started during the comic book class I held this Summer. Took a little while to get to this point. Sorry, but I had other deadlines that came first. I will be doing this in full color, too!

Here are the pencils for a parody cover I started, in class, as an example for my students, who were learning drawing for comic books. Yes, we covered your standard ‘adventure’ style drawing and storytelling (plus Manga). But I’ve always been partial to humorous storytelling, in my own work anyway.
You can imagine the thoughts that went through their heads as I demonstrated this 5 point perspective piece. Not to worry, I only made them do a 2 point perspective. Couldn’t have 10-12 years old’s heads exploding! (well, not again)

For those of you who are wondering how I’m getting around after my recent surgery, it’s going something like this. You cannot stand still, or let minor inconveniences slow you down! Gotta keep moving! Keep running the race!
