Here’s a comic cover I just finished – from My Hero Academia, with credit to the original artist, Yoko Akiyama.  Not sure if I’ll do the full color version of this one, it’s meant to be an example of a “pencils” cover that can be ordered.

The Expulsion

Believe it or not, I’m still working on the Noah coloring book! (In between several other pieces).
Since this book goes from creation to catastrophe, it’s got to show “The Expulsion.” Now just one more page to go – then post production.

Classic Custom Caricature Comic Cover!

As I posted previously (Thing vs. Hulk cover), I am offering “Classic Custom Caricature Comic Covers” – Have yourself, or your friends & family members (or a combination) made into your favorite comic covers!

Can be action comics, superhero, Manga, DC, Marvel, Dark horse, or whatever you like. Here, we have the pencils for “Werewolf by Night” #13. This will be inked and colored, and I’ll post those, too.

For a VERY unique gift, you can order one today! (typically, there is a two week turn-around). Pencils of the originals are available, as well as the full color version. Stay tuned for the finished product!

Thing vs Hulk!

Here is my homage to “Giant Size Super-Stars” #1 – The battle between the Thing and the Hulk! It’s also a sample of a new piece I’m offering – Caricature Comic Covers! (this one is of me and my brother, because we actually fought over the outcome of this battle).
Love a particular comic? Always wanted to be a part of the action? Here’s your chance! Order yours today…Here

After School Drawing

I am going to be at the Warwick Center for the Arts (3259 Post Rd., Warwick, RI 02886)  on Wednesdays 10/11 to 11/15. This will be an opportunity for students to practice drawing their favorite subjects! It is not a directly lesson class – although I will be showing techniques on a one-to-one basis, but rather a self-directed course.

Students will be able to come and draw with their friends, get some drawing tips, or just sit and draw!

Adventure, too!

So, I’ve been working on putting together my book, “Clamcakes: Funny.” A resource book, and comic strip highlighter. Of course, on the newspaper comics pages, there was also the adventure strip – so, of course, I had to include it!

Comic Book Class

Here are the comic book cover pencils I created for the “Comic Book Drawing” and “Create a Comic Book” classes coming up at the Warwick Center for the Arts.
